The quality of soil and water, as well the preservation biodiversity, are negatively impacted by intensive agricultural systems. High biodiversity regulates how intercropping evolves. Contrastingly, monocultures used in agriculture systems, along with substantial inputs chemical fertilizers pesticides. One strategy for boosting diversity an ecosystem is intercropping. Intercropping systems improve environmental harmony, increased resource use efficiency, enhance quantity goods, less damage from pests, diseases, weeds. Leguminosae family plants preferable even though they fix more biological nitrogen, thus enriching fertility. significant many subsistence or low-input/resource-limited which on periphery modern agriculture. Thus, opting suitable combinations crops optimum row ratio will be profitable, ecologically sound, economically viable.
